The Campbell Page State of Our Community research project is part of a long-term research agenda focused on providing multiple stakeholders with reliable, evidence-based information to enhance understanding of the communities we work in. The project has three core goals:
As part of this project we have undertaken an environmental scan of each of the 25 ESAs where we provide employment services. These scans will inform our ongoing research agenda.
These environmental scans have been published as 25 separate State of Our Community reports. These reports are intended as a resource for community service organisations, NGOs, employers, governments and other stakeholder groups. Our aim is to engage key stakeholders in an ongoing discussion about how we can work together to reduce disadvantage and build more socially inclusive communities.

This year Campbell Page celebrates our 25th anniversary.
That length of service is testament to our track record of reliability, commitment and performance.
While many providers have come and gone over those 25 years, Campbell Page has grown into a national organisation with over 100 offices and helped thousands of people change their lives for the better.
We think that is something worth celebrating and a number of events and activities will be held over the coming year as a way to celebrate this important milestone in our history.
A special logo has also been developed to commemorate the anniversary and will be displayed prominently in Campbell Page Community Employment Hubs and promotional material over the next 12 months.

Our special 25th Anniversary logo was launched recently at our 25th Birthday party held in Canberra. The event had a rolling presentation capturing the highlights and journey of the organisation over the 25 years. The event had many past and present stakeholders attending with some entertainment that was able to showcase the difference we've have had on people's lives.

Thanks to RecruitmentSuper, many of our job seekers are benefiting from new money management skills that are helping them to rebuild brighter futures for themselves and their families. For some, it has even given them the confidence to take on new apprenticeships, start their own business and break a cycle of debt.
The innovative Money Management workshops were delivered to around 70 clients at our Community Hubs in Eden, Narre Warren, Cranbourne and Morwell. Each Workshop covered the seven steps to financial management, dealing with banks, debt reduction and each person developed their own personalised Money Action Plan.
Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive with 98% of participants stating that the workshops gave them an increased ability to manage their money.
But the workshops didn't just impart knowledge; they empowered participants to take action. Take Annabelle for example, who having completed her Money Action Plan realised that she could afford to undertake an Apprenticeship, even while living independently without family support. She left the workshop, applied for a number of Apprentice positions and commenced one week later in her chosen field. She described the workshop as "Awesome".
There are many more stories like Annabelle's; stories of lives changed and dreams renewed and we would like to thank RecruitmentSuper for their generous financial support in enabling this program to go ahead and obtain such important results.
If you or your company would like to donate funds for Campbell Page to run similar programs aimed at empowering disadvantaged clients, please contact Clair Swan, Senior Manager Community Strategic Partnerships on - 0407 048 368
